Following the success of the launch of Helium Soul’s fan club “The Three Mile High Club” and aptly associated first single, “Three Miles High” (attracting great reviews and radio plays/interviews/live sessions,) the band release their second single, this time as a worldwide download.

The track “Ten Ton Mother Love” opens with a distorted loop, with the beat kicking in hard on a hip-hop lilt. Then with the band’s instantly recognisable ‘heavy-on-the-one’ (or as the lyrics state: “heavy on your mind”) it makes for a stomping head nodder – emphasising the NU in Nu-Blues.

With this year’s summer festivals under their belt, including: Main Stage @ Beached Headlining The Surrey Advertiser Stage @ Guilfest Main Stage Main Support at Hampshire’s Rushfest Helium Soul have been de-indifying gig-goers and music-lovers alike and this new track takes the process one stage further.
